Paper written from research conducted in teacher training and published in the book “Aprendizajes Mediados con TIC: fichas pedagógicas y reflexiones de la práctica docente”.

Since the 1990s, the Chilean Ministry of Education has proposed projects to address the need to incorporate technology in schools in order to start working in the computing area and -from the moment such a program is implemented- to reduce the digital gaps in children. In this way, from the incorporation in the school system, students would acquire the necessary digital skills, which would be developed progressively during high school
and up to the university system of higher education.
